Hello Summer

New Year brought the usual snow and cold weather, but we cozied up by the fire with our Orange and Cinnamon candle waiting for the first snowdrops to appear.  Our garden at Lilac & Thyme residence did not dissapoint.  The snowdrops were covering our orchard in abundance.  We brought out a new Eau de Parfum fragrance in Bergamot & Sandalwood which is a sensual fresh aromatic chypre cologne with notes of blackcurrant, bergamot and apple intertwined with incense, peppery rose and birch on a heart of jasmine, sandal, patchouli and musk.  It has proven popular with both sexes. We were delighted to be featured in Tyne Valley Living Magazine for May/June, with a double spread article!  Our lavender is starting to thrive again, already producing deep purple fragrant flowers which will go in our lavender soaps and oils.  Lilac and Thyme workshops have been really popular and are held each month at the Lord Crewe in Blanchland.  The ladies have enjoyed an introduction to cosmetic making and have made bath bombs, bath salts and scrubs, lip balms and salves, container candles and hand creams.  It is always a joy to see how happy the students are with their hand made products.  For more nformation on our workshops please visit the events page at http://www.lordcrewearmsblanchland.co.uk tvl1
